Dr. Ibrahim joined Orange Labs since its inception in 2008 and is currently leading the Open-Innovation and Socio-Economic Development strategy and activities. Before that, he worked with Orange Business Services as Freelance Principal Consultant on Large Service Development Projects.
Between 2006 and 2007, Dr. Ibrahim joined the National Telecommunication Institute to establish its e-Learning Center. Previous to this position, he was with the French University in Egypt. He established and chaired the ICT Department, at the Faculty of Engineering. He was also the Chief Information Officer of the University. From 1999-2005, Dr. Ibrahim was leading the Mobility Architecture Team and was the Mobility Champion for Shell IT International, in the Hague, the Netherlands. He holds a Ph.D. in Multimedia Networks from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST-Bretagne), France.
